Snowed under…
With the arrival of March, Scotland also saw its first (I think?) snow of the year - at least where I am. Nothing compared to the super deep snow of years past, but I’ve been feeling snowed under in another way.
I am slowly but surely getting on top of my review backlog - every now and then I come across another little setback, whether it is life things getting in the way, or just another game being added to the list - but I’m finally starting to get somewhere. Same with other things I’ve been working on, such as moving furniture around the house, decorating and getting back on track with YouTube.
I am in incessant note-taker, with countless notepads (something I’ve touched on before) filled with scribbles and to-do lists. But I am also a massive procrastinator. Undiagnosed ADHD maybe, but it’s something I’ve always battled with. Even writing this blog post has me hyper-aware that it is possibly just another delaying tactic from the things I’m meant to be doing. Things I should have done a long time ago, but the longer it takes me to get round to it, the harder it is to take that first step. It’s a vicious cycle, and one that I imagine so so very many people can relate to.
Hopefully I will get streams up and running in the near future, but until then I am looking for any advice on decent equipment that anyone might recommend. In particular, a webcam that is compatible with Xbox Series X, as this will be where I stream from for the most part. I also need to get a monitor at some point so that I can get PC gaming on the go - since my Steam Library is feeling very neglected - and this would also end up being a great way for me to produce content too, since I’m limited to editing stuff on iPad currently. Oh, and lastly - I’m also badly in need of a sofa bed. This one looks to be suitable (once I can afford it!), but if you’ve got any good/bad comments about it - please let me know :)
